What is Retail-Readiness?
Retail-Readiness means your product detail page is ready to convince a buyer to make a purchase.
Checklist for Retail-Ready Listing
- Title, Bullet points, and description
- Images
- Customer reviews
- Star rating
- Inventory
Let’s dive deep into each point
Title, bullet points, and description,
Title:
- Capitalize the first letter of each word and don’t include your trademark.
Bullet points:
- Must include 5 bullet points and define the top feature of your product.
- Each point length must be more than 10 characters and less than 255 and use numerals, never spell number.
Description:
- Make your description buyer-friendly as well as amazon algorithm (A9 algorithm) friendly.
- Use correct grammar and complete sentences.
- Include warranty information.
Main Image
- The main image should be pure white background.
- The product should cover 80–100% of the frame and for the media product, it should cover 100% of the frame. (Main image)
- Don’t add text or graphics in the main image.
Additional Images
- The image should be a lifestyle image.
- The image should be a white background but not required.
- You can include text or graphics on your additional images.
- Do not include URLs, free shipping, pricing, or promotion.
Reviews and Star Rating
According to Amazon, 90% of shoppers read the review before place an order.
68% of shoppers decide to buy a product just after reading 1 to 6 review,
- Reviews volume should be must at least 15 with a positive rating.
- Positive reviews are very friendly with the A9 algorithm.
- Reviews rating should not less than 3.5 but the 4 or 5-star rating will boost your listing in SEO.
Inventory
- There are many disadvantages of being out of stoke.
- if you have a good BSR (Best Seller Rank) which you earned by spending a big amount on Advertising, so by being out of stoke you will lose it and again you will have to spend money on advertising.
- You will lose your loyal customer and they will convert to another seller.
- Being out of stoke again and again will affect your historical data in the algorithm.
